Locally owned and amazing food. They have a drive thru but we like to go inside because it is clean and the employees are so friendly. The food feels like my grandma made it and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a try !!!

Sooooooooooo good. Sooooooo affordable. I LOVE this place!! They're tacos are not more than 2.75-3.00 a piece, they have so many flavors, so many options for meals. Ugh just pure good in my eyes. They have a drive through with is so convenient for me on my lunch. The food comes out so fast and tastes so fresh. The ladies that usually work the window are so nice and friendly. Yes, there is a lady who answers the speaker who doesn't speak English, but usually when she hears that you don't speak Spanish, she grabs another associate to take over the window. I just love this place as a quick and easy option for a delicious and affordable lunch. P.s. I don't care for the beans though! I could live without them, but I'm normally not a beans girl anyway, so I'm biased lol.
Great food all around! Service is great and very fast. Chicken burrito supreme is fantastic, their tamales are also delicious. Good ambiance.
Tacos La Mexicana has been solid place in my lunch rotation for several years. I've only ever tried their tacos, but they also have a wide selection of other Mexican foods, similar to a Roberto's. I always get their lunch special 4 taco combo. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. You can pick the type of meat you like, my favorites are the al pastor and chorizo. They are both so flavorful and tender! The carne asada and pollo are also good, especially with their salsa verde. They make the chorizo extra crispy and it's not too greasy, probably one of the best chorizo tacos I've had. The lunch special comes with the 4 tacos, beans, rice, a few chips, and a drink. They give a decent amount of meat in the tacos too, and the combo is about $12.50 as of Jan 2024. It makes the perfect meal for one person! The restaurant is clean, has a small eating area inside, and also has a drive through. Service has always been good and friendly. It's located across from Desert Breeze Park, so it might be a nice idea to get some food here and have a picnic!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Cabeza Burrito and Lunch Special of 4 Soft Tacos with rice & beans + drink. All of the food were great and flavorful. The burrito had rice, beans, onions, cilantro, and pork cheek and was quite filling from the carbs. The cabeza did get a bit queasy near the bottom. The rice and beans were great and both cabeza and asada tacos were good. Ambiance: 4/5 - small store that feels a bit older but clean overall Service: 5/5 - quick service that's to the point Value for price: 5/5 - price did go up since our last visit but still a great deal for delicious food!
Looks can be deceiving outside, but the food is legit. We had the Breakfast Burrito, Carne Tacos, & Carnitas Tacos. All were delicious! And they definitely aren't stingy with the meat. The interior is clean and nicely decorated with a Mexican theme. Friendly staff. Huge plus: They have a drive-through!! Whenever I'm back on this side of town and craving tacos and burritos, I'm coming here. Totally recommend!
The drive thru entrance is behind the building and CJs. The speaker to order has been offline the last three times I've been there so you have to drive up to order. The beef rolled taquitos and the steak street tacos are phenomenal. The price point is very friendly and the wait is never long. They do not open late so this is perfect for meals prior to 8pm.
